A quick-lube visit is rarely quick. There's the drive over, the queue, the forty minutes in a plastic chair, and the upsell conversation about a fuel-system flush your car has never needed. Add it up and a $90 oil change has cost you half a Saturday.

An oil change is also one of the few jobs that genuinely doesn't need a lift. We carry low-profile ramps, a vacuum extractor for the sump-plug-averse, and every common filter on the shelf. Ten minutes of setup, thirty of work, and a sealed container of old oil leaves with us for recycling.

The 21-point check that comes with every service is the part that actually saves money. Brake pad thickness, tyre tread depths, belt condition, battery health and fluid levels all get measured and written down. You get the numbers — not a colour-coded chart designed to sell you something.

Correct grade and quantity for your engine, level verified on the dipstick, and the service light reset properly through the OBD port.

Brakes, tyres, belts, battery, lights and every fluid measured and logged. Anything marginal gets photographed.

About 45 minutes from the van pulling up to the report landing in your inbox. The drain itself is roughly ten minutes; the rest is setup, the filter, and the 21-point inspection. You don't need to be present for any of it — just leave the keys and the bonnet accessible.
Always. Used oil and the old filter leave in a sealed container and go to a licensed recycler. Pouring it down a drain is both illegal in Illinois and the fastest way to ruin a driveway, so it is never left behind.
Whatever your manufacturer specifies — dexos for GM, VW 504.00, BMW LL-01, Ford WSS-M2C, and so on. Tell us the year, make and model when you book and the right oil and filter are on the van before we set off. If your engine takes more than six quarts there's a small charge for the extra, quoted upfront.
Yes — the labour-only price is $45 and it is listed beside every job on this page. We will still fit it properly and still do the 21-point check. The difference is the warranty: our labour is covered for 12 months as normal, but the 6-month parts warranty only applies to parts we supply. If the oil or filter turns out to be wrong for your engine the visit is still billable.
Because both halves move with the vehicle. An oil change on a four-cylinder Corolla and one on a V8 truck take roughly the same time, but the truck swallows nine quarts and a bigger filter — and a skid plate or an awkward filter housing adds labour on top. The figures on this page are the common case. We look up your exact year, make and model, quote the real number, and get your approval before we start.
Yes. Independent servicing doesn't void a manufacturer warranty in the United States — the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act settles that. We use manufacturer-spec oil and filters and give you a dated, itemised receipt, which is exactly what a dealer will ask for if a warranty claim ever comes up.
You get a photo and a plain explanation of how urgent it actually is. Some things need doing today, most can wait, and a few are simply worth knowing about. We'll quote it if you want it done, and we won't chase you if you don't.
Diesels yes, including the higher oil capacities and the DPF considerations that come with them. Hybrids yes for oil, filters and brakes. Anything involving the high-voltage system itself — battery packs, inverters, orange cabling — we leave to a specialist with the right certification and insulation gear.
